What happens when you book a free countertop estimate
- We come to you. No trip to a showroom to get a number.
- It is a short visit. We measure the runs, check the cabinets, look at the sink and work out how the stone gets into the house.
- Nobody sits in your kitchen for three hours. No tablet presentation, no discount that expires tonight.
- You get a written, itemized bid by email within same day — every line priced, including tear-out, haul-away, cutouts and edge.
- Then it is your turn to think. Take our bid to two other shops and compare it line by line. We would rather you did.
Helpful to have ready
Not required — we can work without any of it.
- Rough length of your counter runs, or a photo from the doorway
- The material you are leaning towards, if you have one
- Whether the sink is undermount or drop-in, and whether it is staying
- Whether there is a cooktop in the counter
- What the old surface is: laminate, tile or stone

Questions before you call
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. The visit, the measure and the written bid cost nothing, and there is no charge if you decide against the job.
Do you charge for the countertop replacement estimate if I do not go ahead?
No. No trip fee, no measure fee, no deposit to get a number.
How fast can you come out?
Call and you will be given a slot in that same conversation — we can often do same-week for kitchens inside our service area. Mike does the measures himself, so the answer is a real date from his own calendar, not a promise from a call centre.
Will someone call me back if I leave a message?
Same business day. That promise is the reason this page exists — silence after first contact is the single most common complaint about this trade.
Can I get a price without a visit?
For a bathroom vanity or a small run, often yes — send measurements and a photo to info@stonewaycountertops.com. For a kitchen, no. A phone number quoted without a measure is a number that changes later.
