This page exists to answer one question: who does the plumbing. Short answer — we do, for the work that is part of your job, and we are not the people to call when a pipe bursts on a Sunday.

The plumbing services we do ourselves
- Disconnect and reconnect your sink, faucet and disposal on countertop install day. You do not hire a plumber to meet us, and you are not the one under the cabinet with a flashlight.
- Set a new sink — undermount, drop-in or apron front — including the clips and support the stone needs.
- Install the faucet, the soap dispenser, the filtered-water tap and the air gap, including ones you bought yourself.
- Hook up the dishwasher to the drain and the supply after the counter goes back on.
- Replace seized shutoff valves and supply lines, common in Eastside houses built before the nineties. We flag it at the measure and price it then, not on install day.
- Move supply and drain lines inside the room during a bathroom remodel — a vanity that shifts a couple of feet, a shower valve that moves, a toilet that changes wall.
- Set the fixtures in a bath remodel: shower valve and trim, tub filler, toilet, vanity faucet and the drain assembly.
That list is deliberately short, and it covers everything a countertop or a bathroom job needs.

What we do not do
We are a stone shop that finishes its own work. We are not a plumbing company, and pretending otherwise is how people end up waiting on somebody who is not coming.
- No emergency callouts. Nobody is answering the phone at three in the morning for a burst pipe. Call a twenty-four-hour plumber — that is a real trade with real night crews.
- No drain cleaning, sewer lines or repiping.
- No water heaters.
- No plumbing work on jobs we are not otherwise doing. We do not sell a faucet swap as a standalone visit.
- No gas. A gas cooktop or a gas line gets a licensed gas fitter, booked and paid by us when it is part of your remodel.

Why this matters on install day
The most common way a countertop job goes wrong is a scheduling gap between two trades: the counters go on at noon, the plumber cannot come until Thursday, and you wash dishes in the bathroom for three days. That gap does not exist here. The crew that sets the stone reconnects the water before it leaves, so install day is one day and the sink works at the end of it.
Questions about our plumbing services
What warranty do you give?
One year on our workmanship, counted from the day we install. That covers the things we control: the seam, the fit, the sink attachment, the edge, the level. The stone itself is a separate matter — it carries the manufacturer's own warranty, and that document goes to you on install day so it lives with your house papers.
Do I need to hire a plumber before you install my countertops?
No. We disconnect the old sink and reconnect the new one the same day.
Will you install a faucet I bought myself?
Yes. Bring it to the measure or leave it on the counter on install day. If a part is missing from the box we will tell you before we start, not after.
Can you install a garbage disposal?
Yes, including the electrical connection to an existing switched outlet under the sink. A new circuit is an electrician's job.
Do you offer emergency plumbing?
No. No nights, no weekends, no burst-pipe calls. If water is coming out of something right now, call a plumbing company that runs a night crew.
Who fixes it if the sink leaks after you leave?
We do, and there is no call-out fee to come and look at our own work. Call (206) 643-9354 and we come back.
